Join us for the evening premiere of the Sacred Heart Garden Festival. This evening features delectable cuisine by Tastefully Yours, musical entertainment by Jason Shepherd and Jeff Johnston and the first viewing of extraordinary gardens and floral exhibits created by local garden professionals. Hear experts in the field of horticulture and garden design during the Festival's lecture series. Speakers have included Robert "Buddy" Lee, Chris Van Cleave and Amanda McNulty. Speakers times are Friday, April 26 and Saturday April 27 at 9:30 AM & 11:00 AM.

Garden Festival Tea

Among the myriad of Japanese maples and thoughtfully planted gardens of Mr. and Mrs. R. Daniel Blanton, Greg Campbell, owner and creative director of Garden District in Memphis,TN will inform and entertain guests about his new book Florist to the Field as they enjoy a delectable fare of specialties as well as afternoon tea service. The gardens will open early for patron’s enjoyment and the seating for the talk and tea will follow.

Children can experience gardening with hands-on activities such as planting sprouted seeds, making seed balls and learning different ways to start seeds and enjoy other gardening activities. Children 12 and under are FREE with a ticketed adult

Butterfly House presented by Bedford Greenhouses

Daily during Festival Hours

Experience live butterflies up close! Wander through and feed beautiful butterflies in their thoughfully created habitat made possible by Bedford Greenhouses and McKnight Construction Company. Learn about these fascinating creatures in this exhibit that proves to be magical, yet entertaining.

Proceeds support the enduring legacy of the Sacred Heart Cultural Center.
